- Identifying Reportable Derivatives Contracts
Singapore: Can reporting be done to reflect only the end-of-day consolidated position?
Reporting is required whenever a reportable derivatives contract is entered into, and not on an end-of-day consolidated position basis. Any reportable derivatives contract that is entered into and terminated or expired within the same day are required to be reported. Similarly, any amendments to any reportable derivatives contracts are required to be reported within 2 business days of the amendments.
[With effect from 21 Oct 2024] However, for certain reportable derivatives contracts, reporting entities may submit a position report, in addition to a report that was already submitted for its execution, amendment, termination or expiry.
